‘Essence of Being’ 200hr+ Yoga Teacher Training

Starting October 2025
Hosted at triyoga Camden

Train with one of the UK’s most respected teachers. Susannah Hoffman’s 200-hour Yoga Alliance-accredited training is a powerful deep dive into the heart of yoga.

This is more than a teacher training, it’s a personal journey of discovery and self-awareness. With nearly 30-years of teaching experience, Susannah started her own yoga journey at 5yrs old and was born to the sound of her mother chanting, and grew up with many of the teachings and meditation practices of the mystical east.

Expect a course rich in both tradition and innovation, grounded in the teachings of Krishnamacharya - the grandfather of modern yoga - and refined through Susannah’s intuitive approach to embodied learning.

She is also best selling author of ‘Yoga for Kids’ and one of the foremost teachers of kids yoga, as well as being a very experienced pregnancy yoga teacher and birth partner.

She started delivering teacher trainings over 17yrs ago and has created a training that makes the philosophy more accessible and integrated throughout.

She brings immense clarity, kindness, and expertise, drawing, from decades of study with some of the fore fathers of Modern yoga, and the experience gained by having trained hundreds of yoga teachers.

By the end of this training, students will know how to teach and integrate the philosophy into their classes, will have been on a personal journey of self discovery, will know how to ‘practice’ for their type and teach in a safe and incremental way.

  • "She has a gift for meeting each student exactly where they are."

“I came in wanting to learn how to teach yoga and I left with a far deeper understanding of myself, my body, and what it really means to hold space for others in yoga practice. Susannah’s teaching is wise, spacious, and rooted in decades of experience, yet never rigid or dogmatic. She has a gift for meeting each student exactly where they are.

The course gave me not only the skills and confidence to teach, but also a personal practice that feels sustainable and meaningful. I now understand how to sequence intelligently, teach classes safely, and weave philosophy into my teaching in a way that feels authentic.”

  • "I left the course feeling confident I’d found my voice, and ready to teach!"

“Susannah’s commitment to her students and their learning journey is second to none. Susannah’s many years of experience in teaching beginners informs her approach; breaking things down in such a way that they feel simple and achievable, whilst also encouraging individuals to challenge themselves just enough to keep things interesting! Throughout my TT, Susannah encouraged me to focus on my unique strengths and teach from a place that felt genuine, whilst also helping me to identify and move through limiting beliefs that were preventing me from reaching my full potential. I left the course feeling confident I’d found my voice, and ready to teach!”
